Ultrasound guided steroid injection for Morton’s neuroma.
Corticosteroid injections are a good treatment option for Morton’s neuroma.
A Morton’s neuroma is a trapped nerve in the forefoot, causing severe burning, shooting pain, numbness or pins & needles in the ball of the foot and toes.
When the injection is administered by image guidance we can be more accurate resulting in fewer injections necessary to relieve symptoms.
The injection is not particularly painful, can be sore for a day or two after before beginning to relieve symptoms over the next few weeks.
If you have Foot & Ankle pain, see the specialist.
