Gait Analysis

Gait analysis is the assessment of a person walking or running, either to identify why a person suffers an injury, or to prevent re-injury in the future.

Gait analysis is performed with a portable slow-motion video camera and specialist software and can be done at any clinic. We also use dynamic pressure plate gait analysis which gives detailed force and pressure distribution data, taking gait analysis to the next level of complexity.

Gait analysis is essential to the prescription of exercise therapy and prescription foot orthoses.
